Rope specifications
KODA offers a comprehensive range of cord stock specifications to meet diverse application needs. Each specification is precision-engineered to satisfy specific performance criteria, ensuring optimal functionality in your application.
- Round Cord (O-Ring Cord): The most versatile cross-section, ideal for fabricating non-standard O-rings and widely used in various static sealing applications.
- Back-up Ring Cord: Designed to mimic standard back-up ring geometry. When used with O-rings, it significantly enhances anti-extrusion properties in high-pressure environments.
- X-Ring Cord: Features a unique four-lip design that provides multiple sealing surfaces. It effectively reduces friction and wear compared to standard round profiles.
- Square Cord: Offers a larger sealing surface area. Commonly used in static applications where increased stability and enhanced extrusion resistance are beneficial.
- Rectangular Cord: Provides a wider sealing surface for gland designs that require a non-square cross-section, serving as an optimal alternative to square cord.
Umbilical cord compounds
We offer a comprehensive range of cord materials to meet the rigorous demands of various sealing applications. Whether you require superior oil resistance, extreme temperature tolerance, or excellent weatherability, our stock inventory covers the most common industry needs.
