HNBR rubber material, also known as hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber, is an engineered elastomer developed from nitrile rubber (NBR) through selective hydrogenation. The modification of the polymer backbone gives HNBR a different balance of heat resistance, ozone resistance, mechanical strength, abrasion resistance, and chemical stability compared with conventional NBR. For sealing applications, however, HNBR should not be selected simply because
