End Caps Overview
KODA offers over 200 sizes of corrosion-resistant end caps (also known as blind plugs), specifically designed for applications where the rotating shaft does not pass through the housing bore. These end caps are engineered to protect bearings effectively. Designed with the same outer diameter tolerances as standard oil seals, they ensure a perfect fit into the bore. Constructed with a metal core coated in Nitrile (NBR) rubber, they offer superior rigidity and sealing. Alternative materials and sizes are available upon request.
End Cap seal Part Numbering System
KODA’s end cap seal part numbers are designed to describe their outer diameter (OD) and width, in millimeters. For example, the image below shows the part number for an end cap with an outer diameter of 47 mm and a width of 7 mm.
