Vulcanized O-Ring
High-standard, high-quality vulcanized O-rings in the industry
We keep hundreds of different types and specifications of wires in stock to fully adapt to various industrial applications.

Vulcanized O-rings are made by cutting rope-like rubber material and hot-melt bonding and vulcanizing both ends, making them an excellent choice for static sealing. Liquid rubber is applied to the interface, which is cured under high temperature and pressure to form stable chemical bonds and molecular cross-links, resulting in a strong and tight joint. All vulcanized O-rings undergo 100% inspection before leaving the factory to ensure the rubber material is defect-free and the joint is smooth. Dynamic sealing applications and custom non-standard sizes are supported; molded O-rings can be produced on demand.
We offer a variety of customization services.
KODA supplies nearly 100 specifications of steel wire rope, covering various shapes, materials, cross-sections, hardness, and colors, offering a complete range of specifications. Custom production of round, square, X-shaped, and various non-standard vulcanized O-rings is also available to meet diverse sealing needs.
Standard vulcanized base materials include acrylonitrile rubber, fluororubber, neoprene rubber, EPDM rubber, compound rubber, silicone rubber, and fluorosilicone rubber, among others.
Steel wire ropes support both 90° butt joint straight cuts and 45° bevel cuts (shavings). Bevel cuts increase the contact area and improve tensile strength; detailed steel wire rope tolerances can be viewed by clicking here.
A dedicated vulcanized O-ring calculator can automatically and accurately calculate the required specifications and dimensions of the product based on known dimensions such as cross-section, inner diameter, and outer diameter.

Continuous improvement and pursuit of excellence.
We continuously invest in upgrading our production equipment, adding automatic cutting machines and computer-controlled vulcanizing machines to comprehensively improve vulcanizing capacity and production efficiency. Whether the rope is cut automatically or manually, we ensure that product precision meets and exceeds industry tolerance standards.
Quality Inspection
After all O-ring have completed vulcanization, their assembly and surface treatment quality are inspected one by one. We regularly sample vulcanized products for tensile fracture tests, meticulously recording and analyzing key data such as tensile strength, breaking force, and ultimate elongation. Through routine testing and process review, we continuously optimize the vulcanization process to consistently ensure the highest quality of vulcanized O-rings.
Inspection procedures
By selecting premium adhesive materials and employing professional vulcanizing machines and precision molds, KODA precisely controls vulcanization temperature and curing time, enabling joints to achieve vulcanization performance far exceeding established technical specifications. Meanwhile, mature and sophisticated production processes are the core key, directly determining the final quality level of the finished product. KODA implements a 100% full inspection process on every O-ring leaving the factory, rigorously verifying the compliance of every process standard to ensure that every product delivered to you consistently achieves the expected performance. Below is our comprehensive inspection standard process for vulcanized O-rings.
All vulcanized rubber rings undergo rigorous inspection before leaving the factory. Each ring is tested for torsional strength and tensile strength, and then meticulously inspected under a magnifying glass to ensure there are no cracks, pinholes, or other defects. During inspection, the rubber rings are gently bent to check for burrs, pinholes, and other flaws. As shown in the diagram, the rubber rings do not require excessive bending, as this is not necessary in their application scenarios. Excessive bending can create a cantilever effect, increasing the tensile force on the outer edge and potentially damaging the joint.
